Americans4Artsakh is an American, internationally-focused advisory and advocacy platform that supports Artsakh – an ancient part of the historical Armenian homeland that strives for the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh as a sovereign democracy.
In particular, Americans4Artsakh
is committed to the following goals:
- Promote international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh, which was proclaimed in 1991 in full compliance with the international norms. Artsakh’s independence is supported by the history of uninterrupted institutional self-governance and factual sovereignty starting from the Roman times.
- Strengthen ties between the peoples of Artsakh and the United States.
- Promote awareness of Artsakh’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
- Strengthen nascent democracy and free-market economy in Artsakh.
- Provide assistance to the Republic of Artsakh in the fields of technological innovation, education and culture.
- Promote effective public policy and stronger institutions in Artsakh through professional training and advisory initiatives.
