Americans for Artsakh (AfA) is proud to announce the continued growth of the Yervand Nersisyan Scholarship Program, launched in 2016 to support students from Artsakh pursuing higher education in Armenia.
The program provides monthly stipends of up to $3,600 per year to undergraduates in high-impact fields such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, and medicine. Since its inception with just two students, it has awarded more than 60 scholarships to 20 students, with cumulative contributions now exceeding $140,000. Alumni have gone on to careers at leading firms including Krisp, EPAM, and Advanced Technologies Group.
Named in honor of Yervand Nersisyan—a New York–based financial professional originally from Artsakh—the program reflects his long-standing commitment to expanding educational opportunities for the region’s youth.
